On Valentine’s Day an armed thug shot a random man in the arm, in broad daylight, and fled the scene. The injured man was taken to Kings County Hospital. No arrests have been made.

Ken-Bin Industries on Maspeth Avenue
After a 1999 Chevy Malibu was towed to Ken-Bin Industries, the owner went to pick it up. He noticed that his Nikon camera and photo equipment worth $1,196 and assorted car tools were missing from inside the car. No arrests have been made.

Ten Eyck Street
Burglars climbed into an empty apartment through the window and stole a laptop, an iPod, a gold necklace, a laptop bag and a laptop charger. A neighbor said he saw several men loitering oustide the building earlier. No arrests have been made.
S 2nd Street
Burglars opened an empty apartment’s door and stole a laptop, an iPod and assorted jewelry. They left the apartment’s door open after the burglary. Neighbors said that the apartment’s door is always open and that people are always coming in an out. No arrests have been made.

Burglars broke into a parked van and stole two hammer drills worth $400 each. No arrests have been made.
Bushwick Avenue
Burglars broke into an empty apartment and stole a desktop computer, a laptop, an electric acoustic guitar, a digital drawing tablet, a Playstation 2 and an iPod. The apartment’s resident said that his roommate recently broke up with her boyfriend, who proceeded to take her keys without permission. She highly suspects that her ex-boyfriend was involved in the burglary. No arrests have been made.

Burglars entered the house through the cellar door and stole $1,000. There were no signs of forced entry. No arrests have been made.

Someone appropriated an unattended wallet from a deli counter. Cameras show a young woman who looked like she was putting something in her pockets near the counter in question. No arrests have been made.

A man was walking and texting a friend when a phone-snatcher grabbed the phone out of his hands and ran away. No arrests have been made.

After a man realized his WaMu credit card was missing he went to report it to the bank. The teller informed him that two transactions had been made for $40 and $81 between the time he lost his card and reported it missing. No arrests have been made.

Grand Street
A thug came up to a 15-year-old boy and said, “Do you have anything on you like a phone?” When the boy said he had nothing, the thug said, “Let me see, empty out your pockets.” A struggle ensued, during which the robber pushed the boy against a car and stole a cell phone out of his pants pocket. He then fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
Varet Street
Three thieves came into the VIM Store and picked up four pairs of sneakers worth $12,000. When the cashier asked them to pay for the shoes, one of robbers punched him in the face while the other two held his arms. They then fled in a gold car. No arrests have been made.

A woman left her purse in the hallway and quickly ran into an apartment. When she came out the purse was gone. No arrests have been made.

A tactless man made disrespectful comments to a woman at a local bar. When her boyfriend defended her honor, the lowlife struck him with a beer bottle and ran away. No arrests have been made.

A witness saw the burglar steal her roommate’s property while he was out of the country. Some of the stolen property includes an air purifier, DVDs, iRobot accessories, batteries and a charger, a vacuum cleaner, clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils and a high school yearbook. No arrests have been made.

Burglars climbed into an apartment through an open window while the resident was out. They stole several pieces of dirty laundry, a laptop, an iPod, an IBM Think Pad, a Dell laptop and a TV projector. No arrests have been made.

Robbers unzipped a young man’s bag and stole his wallet. No arrests have been made.

A thug stepped out from a large group of men when he saw a teenager passing by. He punched the boy in the back of the head and stole his iPod. The boy ran into the subway. When he came out ten minutes later, the street was empty. No arrests have been made.
N 11th Street
Two robbers approached entrepreneurs who were selling food out of their van, showed them guns and said, “Don’t f*****g move, give me everything you have.” They stole $500, a necklace and a bracelet and ran down the block. They got into a parked green Ford Explorer with Florida license plates and drove off. No arrests have been made.

N 7th Street
As a young man was looking something up on his iPhone while walking to the L-train, a teenager pried the iPhone out of his hand and ran away. The young man chased him, until the thief became tired and slowed down. At this point he turned to the young man and said, “Don’t’ touch me, or I’ll shoot you,” without displaying a firearm. He then passed the iPhone to one of his companions. Two teenage males, ages 16 and 17, were arrested.
Lorimer Street
A musician met two women with pierced tongues at Lazy Catfish bar and invited them over. One of the women had her name, Champagne, tattooed on her chest. At around 4 am they bid farewell, as the apartment’s resident went to sleep and the two women left. In the morning the musician realized that her $500 Martin guitar, a debit card and $10 were stolen. No arrests have been made.

Robbers snatched a woman’s purse while she was walking home from a friend’s house at night. The bag contained a laptop, an iPod and a $200 designer wallet. No arrests have been made.

A group of friends were walking home when two men approached them and said, “Give me your iPod and everything you got.” One of the men pointed a gun at the group, while the other snatched their property. The stolen property included two recording devices, a Kenneth Cole bag, clothes, a wallet, a laptop, a Blackberry and cash. No arrests have been made.

Bar thieves stole a man’s laptop bag from under his seat while he was drinking. The bag contained a laptop and a digital camera. No arrests have been made.

While house sitting his friend’s apartment a “friend” of the resident stopped by and stole a backpack, debit and credit cards, rehab ID cards, and bottles of pills. No arrests have been made.
