Theft from Williamsburg Charter School
Someone stole a hard drive and a Mac desktop from an unlocked school office. The theft was not reported right away, since the staff thought someone moved the computer to another room. No arrests have been made.

Theft from DJ booth at Europa on Meserole Avenue
Someone stole a purse containing a wallet with cash and a debit card from behind the DJ booth. The Bank of Scotland debit card was used to purchase $500 worth of goods at a Walgreens in Brooklyn. No arrests have been made.

Robbery on Meserole Avenue and Jewel Street
A bearded thug pretended he was looking for something in the trunk of his dark-colored car as a 79-year-old woman was walking past carrying grocery bags. He then grabbed her and attempted to snatch her purse. A struggle ensued, and they both fell. He wrestled the bag away from her, closed his trunk, jumped into the car and fled on Jewel Street. The woman was taken to Woodhull Hospital. No arrests have been made.
Robbery at Bar on 126 Bedford Avenue
Someone stole a purse hanging on the back of a woman’s chair. The purse contained cash, credit cards and a camera. No arrests have been made.
Theft at Hugs Bar on N 6th Street
A vacationer from Poland left her bag on the couch. Someone stole the bag containing cash, credit cards, and iPod, a cell phone and a camera. No arrests have been made.

Robbery on Manhattan Avenue
Two Oak Beverages employees stopped their delivery truck in front of HSBC Bank to drop off company money. Two men approached the truck and punched one of the employees as he was getting out. He dropped the bag which contained two smaller bags with $10,000 and $11,000. One of the burglars grabbed it and attempted to flee on Greenpoint Avenue. The car’s driver followed the perpetrators to try to recover the cash. He struck one of the perpetrators with his truck, injuring the robber’s legs. The second burglar then grabbed the bag from the injured one and ran away. The struck burglar got up and attempted to run away on Leonard Street where he was caught. Collin McCall, 21, was arrested, while the second perpetrator got away with $21,000.
Burglary on Norman Avenue
Several apartments in a building were burglarized during the afternoon. One of the burglaries occurred while the resident was asleep in his bedroom. Burglars stole two iPods, a laptop, a cell phone, a camera, cash and a recorder. Neighbors said someone was buzzed into the building at 11:30 and they heard noise and knocking from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. No arrests have been made.

Burglary on Kingsland Avenue
A thief broke into several apartments in an unoccupied building undergoing renovations. He stole a microwave, a wine cooler, a hammer drill and a TV. He left through the rear door, leaving it open. Apartment doors inside the building were left unlocked. No arrests have been made.
Car Theft on Conseleya Street
A Honda Ridgeline 2006 truck was stolen. There was no broken glass at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Robbery on Nassau Avenue and Sutton Street
A robber grabbed a woman’s purse and said “Give me your bag.” She struggled, but her purse was taken. He then closed the trunk of his dark car, jumped in and fled on Sutton Street. The victim did not sustain any injuries. No arrests have been made.
Robbery on N 10th Street and Bedford Avenue
Two robbers approached a woman from behind. One grabbed her purse and said “Give me your f*****g purse.” Then the other one said “Come on.” One of the burglars then got into a black sedan with an open trunk, the other closed the trunk and also got in. The perpetrators fled with the purse in an unknown direction. The victim ran to N 12th Street and got into a taxi. After a canvas was conducted, serial purse-snatcher Krzysztof Romancyk, 49, was arrested.

Burglary on N Henry Street
Peps attempted to enter the victim’s apartment and damaged the door and lock. They left without stealing anything. No arrests have been made.

Burglary on Eagle Street
When the apartment resident came home she found a burglar in her living room going through her things. He froze for a moment and said “Holy s**t, let’s go, let’s go!” Another burglar then ran out of the bedroom carrying several items. They both fled through the back door of the house. The stolen items include a camera, a computer, jewelry, a laptop and cash. The victim could not identify the perpetrators at the police station. None of the neighbors heard anything. No arrests have been made.

Burglary on Wythe Avenue
When a woman returned home to her studio, she noticed her laptop and camcorder missing. There were no signs of forced entry. Work was being done inside the building. No arrests have been made.

Burglary on Guernsey Street
Burglars broke into an empty apartment using a crowbar. They ransacked the place and stole a laptop and credit cards. The building’s landlord said he heard a loud noise around 4:00 pm. No arrests have been made.

Slashing on Roebling Street
A 16-year-old boy was walking down the street in a brown winter coat. Another teenager walked up to him and said “I want that jacket.” He then slashed the boy’s face with an unknown object and ran toward Metropolitan Avenue. No arrests have been made.

Theft from bag check at Beacon’s Closet on N 11th Street
A young woman checked her bag at the store’s bag check and began shopping. When she returned to claim her bag, she discovered that someone else had already claimed it. No arrests have been made.

Robbery at J&M Grocery and Deli on Graham Avenue
Two burglars walked into a store, displayed a black gun and demanded money. The clerk reached into his pocket and gave them $700. They then demanded wallets from two other employees, who were forced to oblige. The burglars then fled on Graham Avenue. They were both wearing gloves and did not leave any fingerprints. No arrests have been made.
