Robbery and attempted robbery Humboldt and Withers Streets: At 9:45 AM a burglar wearing a blue hood and a puffy jacket approached the victim and demanded money. He had a hand under his jacket simulating a weapon. The victim handed over $20. The perpetrator fled on Withers Street. Later that day, at 2:53 the same perpetrator followed another victim for four blocks on Humboldt Street. He demanded money and displayed a metal object, probably a knife. The victim called 911. The perpetrator fled on Withers Street where he displayed his knife and began following another victim. At that time police arrived and Jon Thaler, 20 was arrested.
Burglary on Lombardy Street: Burglars broke into an ice-cream machine and stole $7,500. The van, which was placed in front of the machine, was moved. The padlocks on the side of the machine were removed. When the first driver arrived, he noticed the front gate of the business was open with the locks missing. The person who reported the crime states that he was the last person to pull the front gate closed with two padlocks, which were missing. There were no broken padlocks, cameras or alarm systems at scene. No arrests have been made.

Robbery on Bedford Avenue: The victim states her credit and debit cards and $150 were stolen from her purse. She left purse unattended in a classroom, she had wallet and was not bumped before entering classroom. Cameras in the room were not working and witnesses on scene did not report seeing anything. No arrests have been made.
Burglary on Java Street: Burglars broke into Maximum Mechanical and removed 50 lengths no hub cast iron pipes valued at $2,508. No cameras at scene or surrounding areas. No arrests have been made.

Robbery on Driggs Avenue and N 12 Street: The victim was walking to work. As two perpetrators ran past her, another perpetrator came up behind her and held her by her arms. The other two started punching the victim and laughing while the first perpetrator took her iPod out of her hand. They then fled in unknown direction. No arrests have been made.
Check fraud on Humboldt Street: Two conmen cashed fraudulent checks from Jose Finn Furniture at Citibank located at 217-10 Jamaica Avenue in Queens Village. The checks had different addresses in the Bronx. Bank transactions with copies of said checks produced and submitted. The matter is under investigation. No arrests have been made yet.

Robbery on Jackson and Humboldt Street: The victim was walking to a check cashing place on Graham Avenue to pay some bills. When he got to corner he saw several Hispanic men sitting against wood railing at a construction site. One of them said “hey” and the victim stopped. One of the men approached the victim from behind and placed a silver handgun against the back of his neck. Another perpetrator pulled out his own handgun, pressing it against the victim’s neck. The third man pulled out a handgun from behind a hard hat he was holding against his chest. All four then surrounded the victim and said “Don’t move” in Spanish. Then one of the men ripped the victim’s gold chain off his neck, grabbed his ring and money from pants pocket. They then ran away with about $1115 worth of jewelry. No arrests have been made.
Attempted burglary on N 8th Street: A burglar was seen hopping a fence and entering a building. Two men were found at the site with a wrench, a spool of box cable, power saw and a screwdriver. Jose Carlos and Leo Domin were arrested.
Car theft on Bayard Street: Upon returning to her parked 2007 pontiac G6, the victim noticed it was not there. The vehicle was a rental car. She has the keys, papers, rental contract. No broken glass on scene and no alarm system on car. No arrests have been made.
Theft on Bedford Avenue and N. 7th Street subway: The victim entered the subway at 14th Street L station. While she was on train someone removed credit cards, cash and ID from her purse and used her credit card to buy MetroCards 30 minutes later at Bedford Avenue L station. No arrests have been made.

Theft at Manhattan Avenue and Meserole Street: The victim was shopping at the T-Mobile store. When she left the store and walked down the street, she felt a couple of people bump into her. When she walked into another store to pay for something her wallet was gone. She states that her credit card and her best buy card were used to purchase items at a clothing department store. Best buy was used at Exxon gas station online. The matter is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
Theft on N. 9th Street: The victim says that her mother’s car window worth $200 was shattered and her wallet was removed from the car. Containing $25, debit cards and drivers licence. The wallet was worth 25. No arrests have been made.

Theft on N. 8th Street: The victim left his wallet unattended and someone stole it. The wallet contained $200 and debit and credit cards. Transactions were made on cards at Forever Corp, Duane Reade and Fantasy Video. The cards were cancelled. No arrests have been made.
