Can Thrower

A disgruntled man attacked his ex-girlfriend following a verbal argument with her on the night of June 12, according to police.

The argument took place on Boerum Street and soon turned violent when the man threw a can at the 19-year-old victim, hitting her upper right arm.

Bad Romance

A 24-year-old guy brought home a man he picked up at a bar on June 12 only to get robbed by him afterward, according to police.

The victim returned home with the perp just after midnight, but being intoxicated was unable to recall the night’s events in exact detail.

When he awoke the next morning his laptop, wallet, driver’s license, phone, and social security card, had all been stolen.

The victim has had no further contact with the perp.

Cabbie Attack

A cab driver was assaulted by a group of thugs who refused to pay the fare, according to the police.

On June 11, the driver picked up the perps along Taylor Street just after 2 p.m. They drove to the perp’s house, but when it was time to pay the fare, the perp began arguing.

He then called on a couple of his buddies. One grabbed the 56-year-old driver’s hands, another punched him several times, removed his phone from the dashboard, and $75 from his pocket.

All three then fled on foot.

Bottle Chucker

A 29-year-old walking along Lorimer Street was struck on the head with a glass bottle, by a stranger, on the night of June 10, according to police.

The perp then threw the victim to the ground before abruptly walking away.

The victim sustained lacerations to the left side of his face, and left ear, and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment shortly thereafter.

Husband Goes Ballistic

A Bushwick man senselessly beat his wife over an argument that involved taking their child to school, according to police.

The argument occurred on the morning of June 11 at 8 a.m., according to police.

The husband grabbed his wife’s neck and began choking her, then pushed her to the ground where he continued to hit her and pull her hair.

The victim sustained injuries to her neck, head, and throat.

Smoker Attacked

A smoker was attacked and had his phone stolen outside of a bar on McKibben Street in the early hours of the morning on June 10, according to police.

The victim, 30, told police that he had stepped out of the bar after 3 a.m. to smoke a cigarette.

While outside, he was attacked by a stranger who stole his phone and wallet.

At the time that officers made contact with the victim he was highly intoxicated and refused medical treatment.

Fast Food Dust-Up

A 13-year-old was pulled out of a fast food restaurant on Broadway and savagely attacked by a gang of three, according to police.

The victim told police that his attackers had earlier approached him at the restaurant and asked him to step out. When he refused, the three men beat him with a wooden stick, and punched him with closed fists.

Police determined there were no signs of physical injury to the victim.

Nightclub Break Up

A 20-year-old confronted her fiance for cheating only to receive a beating from him shortly thereafter, according to police.

The victim confronted him outside a Bogart Street nightclub at 10 p.m.

“Give me the ring or I’ll kill you,” he said.

He began to punch and kick her for not returning the ring, and because he was unable to retrieve the ring he made off with the victim’s purse instead.

The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital to treat her wounds.

Dumpster Psycho

A 59-year-old walking to work on June 13 at 4 a.m. was attacked by a deranged man, according to police.

“Give me a dollar or I’ll kill you,” the perp said as the victim approached him on Scholes Street, while he was rummaging through the trash.

The victim attempted to run but the perp was too quick and stabbed the victim with a metal object.

The victim was taken to Woodhull hospital for treatment.

Basketball Beaters

A gang of 16 savagely attacked a 14-year-old as he was leaving a basketball game, according to police.

The victim, who was known to the perps, was walking home along with his mother on June 12 after 4 p.m. when he was chased by the perps along Walton Street.

The perps caught up, threw the victim to the ground, then punched and kicked him before the latter lost consciousness.

The victim sustained injuries to his left arm, legs, and torso.
