CB 1 Executive Board Re-Elected

At the Tuesday, June 12th Community Board 1 meeting, the current Executive Board was officially re-elected to serve the neighborhood for another year. Nominations were held at the May 8th Board meeting with Chairman Chris Olechowski, First Vice Chairman Rabbi Joseph Weber, Second Vice Chairman Heather Roslund, Third Vice Chairperson Del Teague, Financial Secretary Karen Leader, Recording Secretary Israel Rosario and Member At Large Phil Caponegro all chosen to continue in their current roles, without opposition.

Reacting to the vote of confidence from the Board, Chairman Olechowski said “I am proud to serve another term as Chairman of our Community Board. It’s a great feeling to have my work, and the work of the entire Executive Board, recognized by being re-elected for another year.”

The new term for the Executive Board will run from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
