Police Blotters (4/16 - 4/22) - 94th Precinct

ROBBERY

4/18
Perp demanded money from victim. Victim refused, believing he wanted to buy drugs. The perp then snatched $700 from her hand and a $400 camera from the kitchen counter and proceeded to leave. When the victim attempted to retrieve the money, the perp gave her a black eye and said, “Watch what’s going to happen if you go to the police.” He was later arrested.

Debevoise Avenue
Perp knocked on victim’s door. When the victim opened it, the perp spit in her face, pushed his way into her apartment, punched her in the face and forcibly removed her cell phone. No arrests have been made.

Wythe Avenue
Victim had just withdrawn money from an ATM when three perps approached him. One perp punched the victim in the face, while another tried to wrest the money from his hand. All three then fled empty-handed. No arrests have been made.

ASSAULT

4/16
Clay Street
Police officer responded to a report of victim having been stabbed on Clay Street. Upon arrival, the victim, who was highly intoxicated, repeatedly told the officer she had been stabbed but refused to give any information about the perp. No arrests have been made.

Manhattan Avenue
Police officer observed perp attempting to flee with merchandise without paying for it. When confronted, the perp threw a few items at the police officer, but missed. He was later apprehended.

Metropolitan Avenue
Perp threw a chair at victim, hitting her in the back of her neck. No arrests have been made.

BURGLARY

4/16
N. 8th Street
Perp entered a school and stole a safe containing victim’s cell phone, iPod and money. No arrests have been made.

Manhattan Avenue
Perp entered victim’s apartment through the bedroom window and stole some jewelry, shoes, a camera, an iPhone and a computer. No arrests have been made.

N. 6th Street
Perp broke into perp’s apartment and stole a camera, a laptop and an iPhone. No arrests have been made.

GRAND LARCENY

4/19
Bedford Avenue and N. 7th Street
Victim felt perp remove his wallet from his back pocket. When he turned around, he saw the perp put his wallet into his own pocket. The victim then requested his property back, only to have the perp say he had no such thing. No arrests have been made.

4/20
Humboldt Street
Perp reached into victim’s purse and pulled out her wallet without permission to do so. He then said he would return her property if he were allowed to see the child they have in common. Both agreed to meet at a park later, but when the perp never showed up. No arrests have been made.

Kent Avenue and N. 3rd Street
Perp broke into victim’s car and stole a wallet and an iPod. No arrests have been made.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO

4/18
Union Avenue
Victim parked his 2006 Jeep Commander on Union Avenue. When he came back, he discovered that his car was missing. No arrests have been made.

Norman Avenue
Victim parked his 2000 Ford Ecololine on Norman Avenue. When he came back, he discovered that his car was missing. No arrests have been made.
