Any fashion trend that you see this summer will have the same common thread: COLOR. Any fashion publication, celebrity news report or stylist will tell you, “Brights are in and drab is out”. With that being said, how are colors of the world conceived?
All color enthusiasts bow to one superior power: Pantone. The Pantone
Corporation provides color inspiration and ideas to businesses around the world. Interior, fashion, auto and advertising are just some of the many industries that use Pantone color services and products to transpire their ideas to customers. The thousands of colors that are born from Pantone give us the creative freedom to exhibit palettes and color stories that bring products to life beyond words.
As inspired as we were about color this season, we hit the streets to see who
fashionably colored our fancy.

Meet Risa: Art Teacher

Her favorite colors for her wardrobe consist of turquoise, royal blue and magenta.
You won’t find yellows or reds in this fashionista’s closet. Her attitude and self-expression show that she lives for color through her clothes. With her 75 pair of platform shoes, it’s no wonder she takes her individual style and couples that with her fluidity of color to create looks that most people her age don’t have the guts to pull off.

These best buds told the Greenpoint Gazette that wearing color is their main
inspiration when shopping for unique pieces in their wardrobe. They were happy to oblige when we asked them to interpret their color language when putting outfits together. “There’s no such thing as clashing….” says Hannah. “…I mix all colors and patterns”. While Elise only wears brights and whites, she confessed, “I am drawn to reds, yellows and dark blues”. “…..As much as I love to wear color, my favorite dress is solid white.”

These two women were a walking billboard of a girly pastels and brights. Nina told the GG that she loves yellows, purples, reds and oranges. You won’t find any blacks or whites in her closet-an unusual yet impressive wardrobe rule that exuberate her style and confidence.
For Ignacisa, it’s romantic colors and fresh floral prints. She claimed purples and pinks rank the top of her list. As much as she loves color, you won’t find any plaids within miles of her closet. Her inspiration for clothes comes from 1950’s Hollywood coupled with traditional dress bodies and classic lines; a true example of elegance and feminine style.
