New York in the 1960s: Pop Art, Minimalism, and Beyond

The Greenpoint Library presents a MoMA lecture by William Smith, Ph.D candidate at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts. Smith will illuminate the radically innovative approaches that defined the works of artists such as Andy Warhol, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, and Eva Hesse. Come take a trip through 1960s New York and find out how these artists changed the face of the art world.
